PLAYING AROUND

Taking a line for a walk - This series began with the concept of taking a "line for a walk". Very simple line drawings have turned into complex webs of connection. Recent exploration have introduced color into the mix. This popular series has numerous possibilities as I continue to play, and I enjoy exploring, as the walk goes on.

Fragility of Nature Touched Up

LOOKING FOR THE MYSTERY - Since 1999 Judith's work, textile art, has morphed into more complex mixed media, with mystery and usually a story that emerges behind the creation. Some of this work is framed and under glass, secured in plastic boxes, or hung as wall quilts.

Buried Cloths - This series was created during an artist residency in July 2005, when I lived in a 100 year old Victorian Cottage in Vallejo, 20 miles from the birthplace of my father, and my ancestral home, near Napa. My great grandparents had deeded a portion of their property to Napa County in the 1800's for use as a cemetery. In July 2004 I buried my father there, near his childhood home in the Redwood Family Cemetery.
